Team Working

Completed (Nov 2020) an eight-week course in Web Development with Code First Girls. This development opportunity allowed me to manage a small project team (4) to create a collaborative website, for which a certificate of excellence was awarded.


Mentoring

Mentored clients (2) on graphics/HMI building, industrial UI engineering, configuration and best practice layouts conforming to current industry standards.

Responsible for mentoring junior staff, in particular colleagues (2) seconded from Egypt and tutored them on the finer points of producing aesthetically pleasing graphics as well as discussing any cultural queries they may have.


Customer Service

Delivered advanced customer service and helpdesk skills when dealing with Slimstock clients, particularly when producing personalised technical guides for aspects of software functionality.


Adaptibility

Highly adaptable when dealing with change, as demonstrated during many years of working as a travelling contractor, especially the three years spent full time in Nigeria.

Able to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in line with the needs a SAFe agile business environment (Metro Bank).


Communication

Led morning stand-ups of feature team (18) at Metro, to discuss the day’s tasks and any blockers. Led knowledge sessions for Power Platform colleagues (6).
